AI Suggestions

The AI Suggestions inbox is one place for everything Sherpa has prepared that's waiting on a human — answer drafts, cross-framework coverage proposals, drafted policies, remediation and risk drafts, and mock-audit drills — so AI work isn't stranded on the page that produced it.

How it works

  1. Open AI suggestions in the sidebar (or press <kbd>g</kbd> then <kbd>x</kbd>).
  2. Each row shows what kind of suggestion it is, a one-line summary, and when it was generated.
  3. Open & review takes you to the page where that suggestion is applied — its own, fully-guarded surface (the assessment question, the policies page, the finding, etc.). Nothing is applied from the inbox itself.
  4. Dismiss clears a suggestion you don't want; it leaves the inbox but is not deleted from the audit trail.

Why review happens elsewhere

Applying a suggestion always happens on its native page, where the right context and approval controls live (for example, an org admin approves framework coverage on the assessment page; a drafted policy saves as a draft you then complete). The inbox is a discovery and triage surface — it lists and routes, it never applies on its own.

Notes

  • Only suggestions that need a human decision appear here. Informational AI output (the Daily Brief, digests, the assistant's answers) lives on its own pages.
  • The inbox requires AI features to be enabled for your organization.
